“The Woodlands was a beautiful stay. I loved the surrounding wild life and peacefulness about it. Staff were wonderful and went out of their way to support me, being I am disabled and require a stick to walk. The bed was extremely comfortable, clean & fresh. Nice hot showers. Breakfast was excellent and catered to my tastes. Overall I would recommend the Woodlands if your looking for a stay that offers peaceful space, nature and a very warm welcome. I will certainly be returning next year when……

“WOW! What a stunning place! Which we highly recommend a stay here. From when you initially arrive at the property and travel down the drive you can see the wonderful gardens and beautiful views. We were checked in by Millie, who showed us to our room, which was amazing Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open, but they did do meat and cheese boards, which we shared one of each, and certainly were not disappointed by the taste and variety. “Arrived to find the place locked up and had to make a phone call for someone to come to the pub to give us our room key. Apparently there was a problem of having no electricity due to the heat. No evening meal available and no bar; breakfast was average, with some folk having to wait a long time for service. The place was clean and room was comfortable.”

“The Guinness Arms had character rooms and the hallway was just as nice. Our room had aircon and also a skylight which had retractable blinds if you wanted to look at the sky or not. Room was clean and cosy with coffee and tea facilities. A bottle of water was also supplied with a selection of biscuits. Iron and board in cupboard for those who want to sort the creases out. Hotel was quiet and calm just the way we like it, we stayed in the week so not sure what it would be like at the……
